for some good deed, does one normally
say: “I was drunk”.
Jesus walks into the room the next day.
“Hey, Son-O-God, that was a great
Sermon you gave on the Mount yesterday!”
“I was drunk.”
Grant at Appomattox confronts his nemesis,
Lee. “It was a great war you waged, General
Grant,” says Robert E. Lee. “I was drunk,.”
says U.S. Grant…(and he was).
When I get enlightened and start performing
miracles, if anyone asks me about them, you
know what I’m going to say: “I was drunk!”
